This is not a pillion experience — it’s a solo ride on your own Harley-Davidson 48 (1200cc). Explore Martinborough’s scenic back roads on a thrilling 4-hour guided tour with Marty Motorbike Tours. Led by an experienced guide, you’ll ride through picturesque Wairarapa landscapes and get local insight into the best roads to ride in the region. Riding gear supplied includes helmet and jacket and is part of the total hire charge (great value). Other gear is available at additional cost on request (e.g. gloves). Pick up and return can be arranged within reason for an extra charge. If you fancy adding something different to your day, you can also take the train through the Remutaka Tunnel from Wellington to the Wairarapa . It’s a great trip that opens out to beautiful views of Lake Wairarapa. Hop off at Featherston Station (only around 15 minutes from the Marty Motorbike Tours depot) and we can pick you up there — then drop you back after your tour. Just email us before you book and we’ll advise the train timetable and adjust the tour start and finish times to suit. This is a private, two-bike only experience you (solo) and the guide only.
