Join our guided motorcycle tour with Marty motorbikes & Tours and enjoy what makes it truly different: you ride solo on your own Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight. This isn’t a “ride pillion” experience or a shared bike. Even though it’s guided, the motorcycle is yours for the entire tour, so you get the freedom and feel of your own ride, with the confidence of a local expert leading the way. Set off on an unforgettable journey through the picturesque countryside of South Wairarapa (about an hour from Wellington). Your guide takes you along some of the region’s most stunning, lesser-travelled routes, with regular regroup points and scenic stops so you can focus on the ride, not navigation. This 6-hour tour includes a delicious lunch at a classic New Zealand country pub, making it a truly memorable ride off the beaten path. Riding gear is included in the total hire charge (helmet and jacket), so it’s great value. Additional gear (e.g. gloves) is available on request at extra cost. If you fancy adding something different to your day, you can also take the train through the Remutaka Tunnel from Wellington to the Wairarapa. It’s a great trip that opens out to beautiful views of Lake Wairarapa. Hop off at Featherston Station (only around 15 minutes from the Marty Motorbike Tours depot) and we can pick you up there — then drop you back after your tour.
